Jade-Handex is a selective soldering system designed for lean manufacturing, offering high-speed, flexible throughput at minimal cost. Its twin PCB rotary table transport system allows simultaneous loading and unloading during product processing. The next-generation patented drop-jet fluxer provides rapid and efficient flushing of the pressurized flux chamber, supporting high-solids and water-soluble fluxes with minimal maintenance requirements.

The low-maintenance solder bath and pump mechanism moves along three axes while maintaining full access to the PCB. Solder is applied using the proven AP-1 nozzle design or custom nozzles, incorporating patented spiral solder return technology to reduce solder balling and splatter.

The soldering process is enhanced by an inert hot nitrogen curtain, providing local preheating to the joints, reducing thermal shock to sensitive components, and preventing oxidation.

Control is provided via a PC using PillarCOMM, a Windows®-based point-and-click interface with PCB image display. The PillarPAD offline software package allows independent program creation from Gerber data for efficient soldering operations.
